Norse who thinks he's an elf

Post by Darkson »

I have a Norse Catcher who's aproaching his 3rd skill. For his first 2 I rolled +1 Ag- both times :o So now, he thinks he's an elf and dodges around.

Now my question is, what should I give him for his next skill? On a normal, do I go the normal route and get him dodge, or go for Leap? What about on a double?

He's on a developed team, so I don't need a backup thrower or anthing like that.

dodge is good, but so is leap ..

I think I'd go the leap - strip ball route

I would have taken leap first, then dodge and then strip ball.
And why do i never get anything like that on my players :( (not counting my elven teams)

That Norse is going to be the first NorseDancer, just take Leap for him. He'll be a real headache for the opposition ;)

Without Dodge the risk that he isn't around for a 51 SPP skill is a lot higher.

After that, I'd say the choice is between Leap, Pass Block and Sidestep, and depends mostly on what kind of teams you're facing. Sidestep is mostly for protection.

But if you're up for an important tourney or something, Leap or Pass Block will probably be more useful than Dodge.

Go for leap, with this skill he'll get to 51 spp in no time, give him dodge then.
For serious pass blocking you'll need two catchers with pass block, and him being the one with AG 5 and no dodge you'll bound to carry him of the pitch in most games

Leap makes him a superstar. I'd go for it.

On a double I would take Nerves of Steel.
For a normal roll? Hmmmn. Conservatively, I would say Dodge but the rebel in me says Leap...which is what everyone else says too.

This would also be the route I would go, I love INts. Or atleast making my opponet afraid to throw the ball.

...and, worst case scenario, its a tackle zone on a reciever or passer. ST3 and Block make that irritating at least.

NoS on doubles definately. I hate leap.

Leap.

On doubles, Nerves of Steel and turn him into an interceptor.
