Goblins are overpowered!
Hey every other team is "too good" so why not these?
I think we should start a pool for what original 16 team will be the next one called "too good" or "over powered" or "unbeatable"
My guess is that it will be Orcs.

No way, its Halflings that are overpowered. They are able to get 2 of the strongest big guy and the strongest star player, potentially able to get 19 STR on the LOS. Put Diving Tackle everywhere else, and this team will eat you for lunch, with some honey and marmalade.
Swap out one of those Treemen for an Ogre, and TTM is actually a real threat, for one turn touchdowns.
But in reality, with Pile-on-o-mania apparent. Chaos is my next bet in the pool. Way to many PO RSC Chaos warriors developing out there.

i agree. the halflings (orcs, and certainly not gobbos) shouldnt have access to ogres. they're simply too good. ttm is quite a dangerous tool when it works. which seems to be never for me, and always for my opponents. there's is quite simply no point in taking trees that dont bother to show up, although w/ the change to take root, im hoping more people will start using them, as they should already be doing.
holy crap, i actually gave a serious response as to why halfings are viable teams. man, i need to go to bed...

Well the Orcs get 4 of them on a team that is every bit as dangerous as any Chaos team!!!! Chaos have 4 ST 4 players but so do orcs but orcs also have 4 blitzers and several positional players...add 4 goblins and they just go right over the top! They dominate every league!!!
BAN ORCS AND GOBLINS!

Blackscale...this is a joke thread that is mocking the "XXXXX teams are too powerful!!" threads that crop up and bug the piss out of me.
It's one thing to discuss the merits of the experimental teams but the 16 original teams have been tested repeatedly year after year and there is overwheleming data to show that they are balanced.

Halfling teams are overpowered. Definitly with their eight turn tree man TD scorers! And what about their passing game! Nobody beats a halfling with a mouth full of pop.
(can't halflings get a hide the ball skill the've got the bags to do it!)

You're obviously insane. The game needs to take the brave step forward and go with what no other gaming company has ever done. Make the base die for Blood Bowl the often neglected 12 sided die. Skaven can modify their armor to 14, while Orcs and Dwarves can have an armor of 18.Blackscale wrote:I also think that 1d6 is overpowered and should be changed to 1d4.
Now I have to go modify the injury table...
