Normally compromise is a truely wonderous thing. What about my point that some coaches like it this and some prefer that way for example no Stars vs. A lot of Stars. So that creating the opportunity to play both ways with a littel tradeoff on each exterem side would basically be a good thing, wouldnt it ?
However, honestly Toby you are the first person I've talked to in a long, long time that wants a lot of Star Players back in the game of Blood Bowl, and you're the first person I seen suggest that they be able to get skills after you buy them. I love compromise but what you are suggesting needs compromise is 100 people in a room wanting to order Bacon & Eggs for dinner and you wanting Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce so the entire room should meet half way and order Fettucine Carbonara.
I seriously want to know from the other thread why that didn't work for you. The "Build a Star" method I described is simple, fits in with the current rule base so you don't need two leagues and rule sets, would allow you have have Morg, Zug, and Griff on the same team (if you could develop them), and its not even my idea so I don't have an alternate reason to plug it. What about that concept would not work for you ... if you explain that to me that would give me some better idea what the issues are. Because I honestly think that that system is your compromise.
