Well there is no contest. The ultimate player of all time respected more than any other....
Pudgy Baconbreath.
Not of course because he was actually any good at BB... he was useless.
But the way he looked. All upright, either through arrogance or sheer terror, I'm not sure.
I thought he "looked" the best player of all time..... so maybe that doesn't count.

Why do I remember hearing about him on the bbowl-l mailing list quite a few timesAcerak wrote:Definitely Clayface, my persistent Wight:

I could be wrong, of course, after all these years, but somehow the stats and the name seemed familiar...

Must say that I have had quite a few excelent players but my memory remains in my human catcher Ian Rice back in 3ed:
10 2 4 8 - Catch, Dodge, (Magic Helmet), +2 movement, +1 agility, Sprint, Sure Feet.
Ian was the kind of player that came out of the field clean, no mud, no blood! I really can't remember how many times he scored. I just can't seem to forget the Chaos Cup Final against a friend of mine, I kicked, I rolled the Blitz! on the kickoff table, and I scored. The game hadn't started and I was allready winning 1-0. In the end he scored three times, got injured and I won 4-0. Memorable!

After a full length beating, one must think that no matter how miserable you are, an uncertain life is better than a certain death!

My favorite player?
... It would have to be my regular Orc lineman, who then gained +1 AG and Dodge. He changed his name to Elf Poser and has happily been prancing around the field ever since.

2 possibilities, though none of them have more than a few new skills:
My blodging black orc, Bollocks Beamish, who managed to pull off an interception on at least one occasion,
and a Half-Orc blitzer named Zorak Skullsplitter - 6 3 2 8 Sure Hands, Block, Tackle, Guard, Mighty Blow - one of the best players ever to be in a big old ruck.

Unless they're rolled for the longbeard...Morg wrote:+1 AG _and_ +1 MV is probably the best you can get for a dwarven team
don't get me wrong... a MA5AG3 player with B,T,TS is great, but he'd be better off with Guard+MB, or even better with two doubles rolled instead.
