Huh? October 2007 is a long way away ... right? No?

October 2007, right. My bad. I think all the confusion is cleared up now.

This would help offset the Chaos team not starting with Block on any players.
I'd have less issues with the beastmen in the Chaos side if this was implimented. They'd be worth the 60K you pay (plus I'd be tempted to field the side in tournaments)
If Chaos (and Horns) needs a boost .... I'll keep this suggestion in mind for next October.

Maybe positionnals with some of the new skills would be preferable. RR a block dice for free is very strong.

Yeah, something like:
"If you roll and use a clear POW then you get a +1 modifier for the subsequent armour roll when blitzing."

Yes it is. But only for a player that has moved one square first and its only useable by one player per a turn. Its a good skill ... I'm sure its that strong. If it could be used by all the Horns players on the team each turn ... yeah that is broken ... but one player per a turn and he has to move first to use it ... I'm not sure that counts as very strong.

I still think it's very strong, that mino will become a whole lot more reliable when blitzing!

It's still better than pro on this matter. Considering I have 2 dice to block and that I mostly use my rerolls on blitzing the carrier, I find it very powerfull as I save my RR.

I can even start with 1 RR, 4 CW, 1 mino as I could reroll everyblitz. 8 free potential rerolls.

He may hbe more expensive but you get free players and cash doesn't count toward TV so saving isn't a problem.

Starting line up with chaos : 4 CW, 7 BM, 3 RR.

free players? Journeymen are not free players, sure if you lose a beastman/lineman and you're struggling then it's nice to field a journeyman until you can replace him with a positional/lineman.

But there's no way in Gomorrah I'd sit on an 11 man Chaos roster with long term Journey-Beastmen. It's horrible having unskilled players on Chaos and journeymen are even worse than unskilled.

Still, imo the jury is out on how powerful that skill would turn out to be, it certainly would help Chaos/Nurgle, make Horns a desirable mutation for Skaven, boost minotaurs a lot and make Chaos more potent in tournaments.

But it is a limited skill that requires a run up and I'm not sure boosting Nurgle/Chaos/Minos this much would unbalance anything.

If you get it without paying it, it's free. Although you might have a diferent definition of 'free'.

The question isn't unskilled or skilled. The question is playing with 11 players. Coachs are unskilled, players are just little toys you move around.

It's "free" in that they don't cost you gp, but it's not "free" in the fact that it boosts your TV.
