MA 7 Hobbo, another double 5. What to do?

Post by Aliboon »

Hello, what should I do? Take the MA again, or go for something like dodge?

As much as I like guard, i don't think that it would be the best choice for an AV7, blockless hobbo......

I put it as the first skill on 2 Pro Elf catchers, so mobile and so unexpected - they helped me win a league title.

I don't doubt it, but my hobbo ain't gonna be dodging anywhere on a 2 to get away from folk to add that assist and my team already has a lot of ST access. I might not be able get any of my CDs skilled up, but it will be their first skill pick............

But on a team where 6 of the best linemen of the game usually take gaurd as thier first skill with normal skill roll?

Additional move is awesome but I'd be inclined to take dodge myself. One or the other.

How about Strong Arm (throwing like an elf)(and positioning the ball further in the back field combined with the movement)

else Guard is good choise.

Who to throw to? I would go for Dodge myself. Always useful.

I've already got a AG4 hobbo for handling duties (as well as a ST4 one)and don't really see myself developing much of a throwing game to be honest.

Is MA8 much better than MA7? I will be quite mobile with 2 bulls, plus the MA 7 hobbo, but can't decide whether dodge would be better.

I suppose I could be fluffy and go the Sneaky Git, Dirty Player route, but that does somewhat negate the value of the additional movement.

As u got good pasing game going already i would take the second Ma. Easy fouling to be had around the BC's after their Blitzes with Dirty player as next skill.

Yep, gone for dodge. I reckon a MA7 blodger will be more valuable than a MA8 player with block.

Leader reroll would be nice, but AV7 would mean he probably wouldn't be on the pitch long enough to use it. Same with guard-he'd just be dead pretty soon.
