A 2-dice against block IS a bad thing.
IMHO, it's never to be tried, if you can help it. I don't think anybody in the earth would start making lots of rerolled GFIs just 'cause "they're a breeze", and their chance to succeed is WAY better than a 1/2 block (you have 33.3% chance to fall on single skull, 10.8% rerolling it, against the standard 2+ roll that is 16.7% prone to fail, 2% rerolled). 1 out of 10 AND a TRR wasted IS bad coaching if you ask me (of course, we are talking of an habit, not of a desperate measure... in that case it's perfectly understandable).
And, tactically speaking, as one of last actions, I WILL always foul that 7-AV diamond on the ground if I can help. And without disperding the cage: if I can make the foul without assists, it will be ok anyway (my odds are 16,7% of success in piercing armor as a base, and I don't mind the CAS)

But, you know, I plain HATE wardancers
