Witch Elf Doubles

Post by howabe »

So, I'm playing a small league (LRB5+2008RR) with some guys from work and finally managed to get my first skill on a Witch Elf. Even better, I rolled a double, but am not entirely sure what to give her.
Any suggestions would be welcome.

My team currently looks like this:
Blitzer - +MA
Blitzer - +MA
Blitzer - Mighty Blow, Side Step
Blitzer - +MA, Tackle
Witch Elf - ?
Witch Elf
Runner - Pass
Assassin
Lineman - +ST, Block
Lineman - Block
2 x unskilled Linemen

Other teams in league are Chaos, Skaven, Orcs & Humans.

Juggernaut or Mighty Blow if you want to use the double.

I would still be tempted by block or possibly wrestle.

Juggernaut is better if there are plenty of developed teams in your league - however earlier on I would be more tempted to go for Mighty Blow as there are less players around with stand firm, fend and wrestle. There's no harm in stacking juggernaut on top of block via a later double roll either, as it gives you plenty of offensive options when blitzing different players.

i'd take MB if she already had block, but juggernaut gives that extra bit of protection when blitzing

Stand Firm stacks very nicely with both jump up and frenzy - leaving you to go wild in the aisles!

Next skill will presumably be blodge for extreme synergy - nightmare to knock down, if you do then she's liable to get back up where you are and hit you and if she's in the sidelines then you're in big trouble!

Well I lol back at your jugs!

Stand firm is a great skill. With jump up it could be very handy indeed.

Lots of options, wonder what they'll go for...

Juggernaut would be my pick. Mighty Blow would be my second choice.

After Juggernaut, I would go with Wrestle then Leap. Then a mix of Side Step, Strip Ball and Tackle depending on your opposition and how you develop your other players.

Agreed, Side Step for less TV on a Frenzy player is better than Stand Firm.

Mighty Blow for me.
