and for my part, i hate the 3e dwarfs... let's be honest, if you glues an axe and shield on each of them and set them up on the table during a wfb game, superman wouldn't be able to tell that they weren't from that line...
there's nothing fun about fantasy battle soldiers without weapons playing football... gimmie them comic-styled minis anyday...

to each their own, but having absolutely zero interest in or love for the warhammer world as i do, my preference is for the satirical, skewed alternate world originally created for bloodbowl... the further the game, and the minis, gets from warhammer, the more interesting and fun it is...Pariah wrote:That's what I like. I think they wouldn't see much difference between war and Blood bowl.
....as for "sporty kit", i definitely agree there, and to be honest, 2e didn't get enough of a uniform look either (though it definitely had more going for it than 3e)... they really need to go back to the drawing board and figure out what a jersey is...

as said here many times before, the 3rd edition minis just need weapons to look like WFB minis ...
I would personally looking very forward to see some sports-looking minis. The 2nd edition were quite good, but that could be done better right ? Maybe a bit of an crossover like Tolkien meets Mad Max and John Madden for a beer ?

What I'd like to see...
... is an ever expanding line of true support characters: coaches, assisstants, fans, vendors, etc....
