It depends on what you need to punch, no? If you need to knock down a Block player without Dodge, a Hob with an assist is as good as a CD with an assist or a BC by his lonesome, with or without Block. But yeah, you gotta position the Dwarfs or BCs so you'll always have one to deal with breakaways.nazgob wrote:rookie hobgoblins dont count. they suck.
if you need to reliably punch something, its got to be the blockers. even the bulls aren't as good, as they dont come with blackle.
@Arthur: I've figured out the formula to calculate the value relationship between a TRR and an AC. I've just learned it, so I'm applying it any chance I get. I've been banking extra cash all this time, but now I understand: FF above your opponent's FF has pretty much the same effect on Winnings now as it always has; the major difference in Winnings terms is that all losses/ties are equal. The value of FF drops if you're not winning, but then it's pretty safe, has a stabilizing effect on the value of AC/CLs, by reducing the odds of giving up FAME 2, and shortens your climb to FF (and Winnings) relevance. That doesn't mean most teams should take it, but CDs at 1M gold have so much need for cash and TRRs, and are so vulnerable to thrown rocks and PIs, that the FF is a much better bargain than it is for most teams.
