I love my local friendly TT leagues as much as anyone. But I hate to see anyone miss out on FUMBBL!
The trick to playing FUMBBL if you want to avoid the min/maxers is to join a league (like our Three Die Block Highlander league) where that stuff doesn't happen. Don't miss out on all of FUMBBL's greatness just because of some coaches making teams you disagree with. You could play FUMBBL for a hundred years and never face one of those if you so choose.
Just sayin'.

If you want, I'd be happy to point you in the direction of our FUMBBL league commish to get you on the alt coaches list for our league.

Thanks, but no thanks. One of my TT Blood Bowl mates runs the 'Rush and Pass' league on FUMMBL, which is litterally as 'anti-bash' as you can get (no MB, PO or Claw, no gratuitous blocking or crowdsurfing allowed, no fouling whatsoever etc.) so if I wanted, I could get into that easily.
But for me, Blood Bowl is as much about the social, physical and aesthetic aspects as it is about the tactics, and therefore playing on my computer, alone, by clicking on the screen, with an ugly image to look at ... it's just not interesting to me.

Agree on this. Since this roster is supposed to represent the Chaos All-Stars, I'd love a new rule for them - "You MUST have all 6 Renegades on your roster if possible."
Hard to implement I know, and potentially messy to police but I'd like to see something like that. Of course, I also wish the team had a single Chaos Dwarf, a single Beastman and a single Chaos Halfling on it and you could only take 4 Marauders so you'd be wise not to listen too closely to my Pact ideas.

One suggestion I like is to give the Big guys Mutation acces on normals, and give it to the Marauders only on doubles. This would make the team more '3 big guys + assorted riffraff' rather than '10 marauders + something else'
I also like your idea of adding more single players, maybe go the whole way and put in
only single players. Like, 1 Troll, 1 Ogre, 1 Mino, 1 Dark Elf, 1 Skaven, 1 Goblin ... 1 Hobgoblin, 1 Beastman, 1 Norse, 1 Human, 1 Chaos Dwarf, 1 Orc, 1 Rotter, 1 Snotling, 1 Skink & 1 Thrall, for 16 unique players!
