I already had a painted metal Sarcos team from way back but these resin ones are amazing! I did buy the Amazons and won the Gnome Contraptions at GenCon bowl so I do have some Impact Trollcast resin teams and love them!

And no, Tom did not pay me to say that! It's just the truth. :)

Thanks for the feedback Chance. Resin might be the way to go, same figs but I can get Sarcos and Amazons for less than the White Metal.
Also love the Podcast, been working my way through the back catalogue till Ive listened to all of them.

I'll post my experiences etc. hopefully this weekend, after St. Nicolaas has visited our home (hopefully tonigh!).

I.e. I have been very busy preparing gifts and peoms lately, I will finally have some 'spare' time this weekend to start with the team. :)

I have a set of the resin Sarcos from Impact and found them to be a very good value. The resin material can hold a lot of detail, but it can also suffer from a lot of casting flaws, especially with small extremities. I found that some of my skinks were missing fingers, there were some bubbles in the casts and some of the scales, finger/toenails and spikes were missing too. For a battle tested, dirty, mud-loving bunch of swamp scum like my lizards, I didn't obsess over the casting flaws. However, I would be hesitant to chose this material for any team that needs to look very polished (like elves) since I think I would go bonkers trying to prep the models.

I made a few posts on my blog earlier this year about my experiences/results creating my lizardman team from them. Unfortunately, I didn't get around to posting a picture of the completed team (I need to do that soon, in fact I need to do full team photos for all my teams) but here are the related posts that I did make:

You must have received some some casting issues I didn't catch (which is possible as I was in the hospital and bed care 3 different times for over 8 weeks of total time this year and my wife was running things in my absense). If you had reported them to me I would gladly have replaced the figures. You did not have to accept those figures if they had issues and I would definitely say to anyone that they should not think they would have those same issues when they receive them or have to accept them if they did receive them that way.

Thank you for the follow-up, Tom. At the nice price point that you have for your resin minis, I had ordered them without having any experience with the trollcast material. I really didn't know what to expect other than to maybe compare with GW's finecast which I had seen some similar results with. It's really nice to hear that you wouldn't have hesitated to offer replacements and that you stand by the quality of your product. Overall, my experience with my Sarcos team was very positive. Paired with your great customer service, I certainly would not hesitate to recommend them.
