MBBL - Round 6

Post by sean newboy »

Well the Gang. vs Fam. Undead has 3 turns each done. FU is missing another 4 guys, 1 bh, 1 so, 2 dead. I cant believe people think this team needs ag 3. And just how are u supposed to effectively (key word) foul someone when most of your team is either prone/stunned/off pitch. This game is gonna bite.

By this team he is referring to the Khemri ... the MBBL use the no Mighty Blow but Foul Appearance instead and the entire team is a maximum AG of 2. ... and the Khemri are still slightly terrifying.

My Halfling team has had zero luck for draws this Season ... out of the 6 game season I am now facing a Vampire team for the 3rd time.

Argh .... I'm going to start hoping for Dwarves soon at this rate... 3 flings needed just for a 1 dice hit .... ick, ick, ick.

Well at risk of winding Sean up, I can't say I agree. First of all the 2 "dead" players are Zombies - that's a total of 60k which may can still regen. The BH is a Golem who sacrificed himself on the line of scrimmage at the start of the game - av 9 is no protection against Piling On. The sending off was a no assist foul against a Mummy - sure it was unlucky to roll the 6 for the foul but it was a low chance play to succeed.

Sean has run away which is his perogative. If I score next go, the the game will almost certainly be 1 - 1 at H/T. So I won't - I'll wait and we can play standing around Blood Bowl - not something I like doing but then having 4 very slow players, and only 2 of 6 (the rest 5) and all ag 2 max means that your defence can get tied up and cannot easily respond to quick running plays.

I fully agree the full ag 3 plus 4 Mummies with MB and Regen is way too powerful. Hopefully I've proved that. I can't say that the revised line up is too powerful at all. If there is something wrong its Piling On - change it to before the av roll and all my Mummies will be on the floor for a turn every other turn. Then it is unlikely they will have much to hit. then all the skeles and the other players with av 7 become very vulnerable. Is this a grossly overpowered team - I don't believe so. Oh and aside for my 3-2 record, the other Khemri teams have a 1 and 3 record - not that great is it?

The only thing i can say is, they may regen, tho i dont see the point your making of it, most teams cant. Secondly just because i mite regen doesnt mean i will, so far in my total bb time, i have achieved maybe 40% regeneration, definately not 50%.

After suffering a lot of casualites in my previous games against Chaos Pact and Khemri, i met goblins and thought that i finally could recover and maybe actually start with at least 11 players next season.
In his first turn a gobbo kills a beastman with a foul.
He is saved by my APO but its still 15 turns left with no APO and with some of the worst luck in the league.

Yay!!!! The Damned Generation won... and the score was 12-3 against a really good coach so I am well pleased. That's a 4-2 record for Season 3.

I took Block on a line-elf who already had Dodge, took Dodge on my third Blitzer, and my witch elf added Mighty Blow to the Block she already had. Also bought my fourth blitzer.

The Darkstars are 3-0 down at the halfway point. My lord missed a FG in the last turn (rolled a "1" :pissed: ). My vamps seem to have caught the "Elven Curse" in this game. I'm putting them in TZ when I dodge just to aviod the "anything but a 1"
