Currently, a boneheaded player cannot take any actions for "a turn" Does this mean that they can catch the ball if thrown to them, or make an interception attempt on the next team's turn, even if they still have no tackle zone? Can a player who is boneheaded use Pass Block?
I might bake this into another item on the Hot List. That players without TZ are bricks. Cannot assist in either direction, cannot catch, cannot intercept, cannot use any skills (like Tentacles, Pass Block, or Shadowing). The game would be a lot easier, if lose of Tackle Zones just meant ignore this player.
So what I'll do is say if you don't go this route .... we need better clarifications on what they can do.
This became an issue in the current MBBL Season 2 League Championship game. Thrud had been freebooted and had a chance to score but had failed his last Bonehead so was sans TZ. Question was: Can Thrud catch a pass? Ruling: under the current rules, yes he can catch the pass after which you roll for Bonehead after declaring his move action to see if he has the sense to run it in for the TD.
However, I'd much have preferred Thrud to have been a brick and not a valid passing target. I've already modified the PBeM rules so that lost TZ players cannot catch or intercept is an option.
